WELCOME TO LAKESIDE
Lakeside School at Black Kettle Farm is a Farm & Forest school, inspired by Waldorf education in Essex County, New York, serving families with young children. Situated amidst the Adirondack Mountains and the fertile farmland of the Boquet River Valley, our school provides an enriching natural setting for our many programs, including year-round child care, a farm- and forest-based Pre-K and Kindergarten programs, and a parent-child play group.

Mountain Tots is Back
Held once a month on Saturdays, it’s perfect for families, little adventurers, and even expecting parents.
Children will explore, play, and connect with nature—all in a safe, nurturing environment. We’re working to offer the program free of charge, so everyone can join in the fun. Click here for dates
